Mission/Vision Statement

The Church Herald is a communication ministry of the Reformed Church in America, equipping members for service to God, the church, and the world.

The Church Herald strives to communicate fairly and with sensitivity, reflecting the diversity of thought and culture among its readers while celebrating their common belief in Jesus Christ.

Its priorities include:

Proclaiming the glory of our triune God;
Communicating a biblical worldview informed by and consistent with our creeds and confessions;
Reporting on and promoting the ministries of the RCA;
Challenging and encouraging readers in renewing their minds and transforming their lives to be witnesses and servants of Christ;
Providing information that will nurture Christian leadership;
Educating readers about the worldwide mission of the church of Jesus Christ;
Serving as a forum for its readers on matters of policy and practice within the RCA, our culture, and the world.
