Our Call to Take on the World's Pain

Our world is filled with overbearing pain, born of brokenness and sin. Poverty breeds despair.

The RCA's church multiplication movement is rapidly expanding, reaching out with God's grace and love to the millions of those in our society who are spiritually homeless. The 100 or so emerging RCA congregations are not only touching the lives of thousands with the radical love of Jesus; these new congregations will also change the RCA.

That doesn't mean the work is easy, or without struggle or controversy. Our new churches often seem different from our established churches, and some ask, "Are we growing Reformed churches? Or, are these just generic new congregations engineered to find a niche in the religious market?" We're answering this clearly as we explore what it means to be both missional and Reformed...
