Consider your brain. It is your only major organ completely boxed in bone, a testament to its importance. You have a pair of lungs. You have a pair of kidneys. You don't have a pair of brains, strictly speaking, but the brain does have very distinct right and left hemispheres, and they do operate differently.
Your left brain is logica, factual, sequential. Left-brained people tend to be rational, analytical, fact-oriented. Think Mr. Spock from the old Star Trek TV series. Your right brain is intuitive, creative, more story-oriented. Former President Reagan was right-brain dominant. Reagan was not especially analytical, and he frequently got his facts mixed up, but he was funny, intuitive, and a gifted storyteller...
