Momentum Multiplies

At 1:23 every afternoon, a cell phone alarm calls the Rev. Tim Vink to prayer. It’s a call to pray for God to enlarge his kingdom by sending more workers into the rich North American harvest.

“Jesus says in Matthew 9:37 that ‘the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest to send forth workers into his field.’ It comforts me,” Vink adds, “to know that the Father in heaven is the Lord of the harvest, and that he has workers that have the character and mission of Jesus in their heart, ready to be called out and sent.”
